Free Photo Shoot
Why do I do free photo shoots? Well, I’m not the only photographer that does them and it is actually quite common. It is called TFP (Trade for Prints) and it means you trade your time as the model and I provide the photography services and we both get nice new pictures with NO money trading hands.
My TFP shoots are actually better for you in that I PAY models $50 per shoot to help with their gas and makeup expense. So, not only do you get free pictures but you get $50 as well. For these shoots we don’t use a makeup artist because you’re getting all the money. I expect you to do your own makeup.
Another option, if you need it, is to have me take the $50 and hire a makeup artist. You don’t get paid but you get the satisfaction of knowing you looked your best for your free photo shoot.
I will touch up approximately 6-8 pictures from the shoot and will email you Internet size and print size files.
I am located in Alpharetta where most shoots are done. I don’t allow friends or relatives to hang around the photo shoot so it is strongly recommened that you drive yourself because they’ll have to entertain themselves for 2 hours somewhere else. The one exception is that I allow you to bring your own makeup artist if you want to.
Most shoots are scheduled near 7pm on weekdays.
If you want me to make you some cool pictures and get paid $50 as well, then send an email to shoot@TalentPhotographer.com and introduce yourself and attach some pics or provide a link to an online model portfolio. If I gave you my card, just say… “Hey, it’s me _______, you gave me your card and I’m interested in a shoot..”. I don’t shoot with everyone that asks so don’t take it personally. All photographers know the looks that they want in their portfolio.
